These buttermilk biscuits are flaky from the outside and dense and soft inside – which in my book corresponds to excellence. Flaky buttermilk biscuits from my grandma render the best side of every dinner.

This recipe makes great buttermilk biscuits every single time, LITERALLY THEEEEEE BEST ONE. These little jewels are simultaneously flaky, buttery, and fluffy. Flaky buttermilk biscuits from my grandma are awesome for every reason. With whatever sort of temperature. It would also impress the in-laws, practically. “How did my grandma become so professional at making southern buttermilk biscuits?” I still get the issue. And it really came down to fast food. She decided to bake them at home and not have to drive miles to solve her cravings for biscuits. She has an amazing addiction to biscuits.

Can I make a little confession? Every month, I bake these cookies, and within minutes, they’re all gone. I’m not saying that I consumed them all, but…. I’ve consumed them all. I don’t have regrets. UHHH!!!

INGREDIENTS:

300 gr.Of all-purpose flour.

70 gr.Of shortening.

1 Glass.Of milk.

1 Large sp.Of white sugar.

1 Large sp.Of baking powder.

1 Small sp.Of salt.

DIRECTIONS:

Step 1: I began by preparing the oven to 425 degrees F = 220 degrees C to preheat.

Step 2 : I whisk together the flour, the baking powder, the spoon of salt, and sugar in a large mixing bowl.

Step 3: I cut in the shortening until it resembled a coarse meal in the mixture.

Step 4: After that, I added in the milk and I mixed the dough until it began to pull away from the side of the tub.

Step 5: I turned out and knead between 15 to 20 times on a floured board.

Step 6: And, I patted the dough or I cut it out to 1 inch wide.

Step 7: Afterward, I used a broad cutter or juice glass dipped in flour and removed the biscuits.

Step 8: And I repeated until I’ve used all the dough, then I brushed off the excess flour and I put it on an ungreased baking sheet with the biscuits.

Step 9: I baked in the preheated oven for around 15 minutes, once the edges start to tan, I removed it from the oven and let it cool for few minutes.
ENJOY IT!!
