Yield: 6 Servings

Ingredients:

1 pound defrosted large shrimp, peeled and deveined

1/4 c olive oil

8 ounces linguine or other pasta

1 tablespoon lemon juice or 2 tablespoons white wine (optional)

1 package McCormic® Garlic Butter Shrimp Scampi Seasoning Mix

1/4 c butter (half stick)

Directions:

Put a large pot with slightly salted water on the stove and turn the heat to high. Allow the water to boil.

Add the pasta and cook until al dente or firm to bite. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process.

Put a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.

Add butter and allow it to melt.

Add oil and allow it to become hot.

Add the shrimp and seasoning mix. Stir and cook for about 3 minutes or until the shrimp turns pink.

Add wine or lemon juice, then stir until well blended. Scrape the bottom of the skillet to get the delicious browned bits.

Add the cooked pasta and toss until well coated by the delicious sauce.

Sprinkle a generous amount of Parmesan cheese on top to garnish.

Serve right away and enjoy!
