The Christmas season involves a lot of holiday cheer but that usually comes with a lot of hustle and bustle as well. That’s why it’s nice to have a treat you can make that’s no trouble at all, like these cute little Cornflake Christmas Wreath Cookies! Unlike a lot of other holiday sweets, they involve no baking at all and take just minutes to mix up. They’re a perfect addition to your holiday cookie tins or a fun project to make with the kids.

INGREDIENTS
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
1 (16 oz) bag marshmallows
1 teaspoon green food coloring
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 1/2 cups cornflake cereal
1 package cinnamon red hot candies
PREPARATION
Line a baking sheet with parchment or wax paper. Set aside.
In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
Add marshmallows and stir until melted.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and food coloring. Once mixed, stir in cornflakes until completely coated.
Drop spoonfuls onto lined baking sheet and shape into a wreath by forming a hole in the center of each mound. Place 3 red candies on each wreath.
Let sit until cool. Serve and enjoy!
