Banana Split Breakfast – Looking for healthy breakfast ideas? How about split bananas? for breakfast? defy! Get this healthy version of “Clean Eating” in about 5 minutes. And indulge in guilt.
Sometimes it’s all about presentation…just changing things up a bit can make something “new” and “special”. Case in point, a healthy split banana breakfast today!
The healthy ingredients, like cottage cheese (or yoghurt), fresh fruits and nuts that make up this banana may be part of your breakfast routine, but when you dress them up in a fun bowl of banana somehow, they look so decadent!
Ingredients:
* Banana
° 1/4 cup grapes
° 1/4 cup of blueberries
° 1/4 cup fat-free yogurt, fat-free Greek yogurt, or sugar-free/fat-free yogurt.
Split Berry Banana Trends:
Cut the banana in half lengthwise, then slice it into bite-size pieces.
Place the banana slices on the plate.
Cut the grapes in half and place them on top of the bananas with blueberries.
Spread the yogurt of your choice.
Notes:
Top it with easy-to-fill breakfast cereal instead of the sprinkles you traditionally find on sliced ​​bananas!
Make sure that the yogurt is a powerhouse food, otherwise be sure to keep track of the points for non-fortified food yogurt. I used nonfat vanilla yogurt for 1 drop.
Hire any kind of berries you need! I happened to have grapes and berries on hand this morning.
