If you are looking for a delicious cookie that has the coolest touch of lemon, these are the cookies for you. I’m a big fan of my Ooey Gooey Butter cookies and I thought if I made some simple changes to the recipe it would turn fine into a lemon cookie. Well, (oddly enough) you were right!
These cookies are soft, sweet, slightly tart with lemon flavor, and easy to prepare! Once you try it out I can’t help but think you’ll agree! Along the same lines, I also went for the Orange Creamsicle Cookie by following the same buttery cookie recipe!
Ingredients:
° 2 eggs
° 2 cups sugar
° ½ 1 teaspoon salt
° 1 cup cold butter
° 3 cups all-purpose flour
° ¼ 1 teaspoon of baking soda
° 1¼ teaspoon baking powder
° 1 tablespoon lemon juice
° 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
° 1 tablespoon of grated lemon peel
° Natural yellow food coloring drops
How to prepare:
In a big bowl, whisk butter also sugar for 4 min until like cream, & adding eggs, vanilla also lemon peel with its juice.
Adding flour, Baking powder, Baking soda, salt, & food coloring, also mixing well, then make little cakes from mixture.
We bake the pieces in the oven at 350 degrees for 9-11 minutes, take them out of the oven also leave them cooled down, & we can sprinkling coarse sugar on them to serving .
