SLOW-COOKER REESE’S™ PEANUT BUTTER CUP SWIRL CAKE

Ingredients:

Cake:

1/3 c butter softened

3 Eggs

1/2 c creamy peanut butter

1/2 c chocolate-flavoured syrup

1 box Betty Crockerâ„¢ Super Moistâ„¢ yellow cake mix

1 c water

Toppings:

1 c powdered sugar

2 tbsp chocolate-flavoured syrup

20 Reese’s peanut butter cups miniatures, unwrapped and cut in half

3 tbsp creamy peanut butter

2 to 3 tbsp milk

Directions:

Apply cooking spray in a 6-quart slow cooker.

Add 1/2 cup of peanut butter, cake mix, butter, water, and eggs into a large bowl. Beat until well blended.

Transfer 2/3 cup of the batter, then add it into a separate bowl.

Add 1/2 cup of chocolate syrup, then beat until well blended to make the chocolate fudge batter.

Add 1/2 of the peanut butter and the chocolate batter into the prepared slow cooker, then spread it evenly.

Add the rest of the peanut butter on top and spread it evenly as well.

Design the top by running a knife on it.

Cover the slow cooker, then cook everything for 1 hour and 45 minutes on a high setting or until a toothpick comes out clean after inserting it in the middle.

Remove the cake from the slow cooker and let it cool for a few minutes at room temperature.

In a mixing bowl, add 2 tablespoons of milk and 3 tablespoons of peanut butter, then whisk until well blended.

Add the sugar, then whisk until well blended as well.

Add the glaze on top of the cooled cake and spread it evenly.

Sprinkle peanut butter cups on top.

Serve and enjoy!
