If you are looking for a new and easy recipe to cook today, then this is the one for you! This Sausage and Potato Skillet is so easy and simple! A big thanks to my very good friend, Danny, for recommending this recipe. I am so glad that I gave it a try because I never would have tasted perfection! Oh, man, you are so in for a treat! I am sure that your kids are going to love this dish! Serve it with salad or rice, and you have yourself a meal to remember! Feel free to add more ingredients if you prefer. Ingredients:

1 pkg. sausage (13-16 oz) sliced

1 medium yellow onion, chopped

5 medium potatoes, about 2 lbs. peeled and diced

1-2 tbsp olive oil

1/4 tsp paprika

salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Prepare the veggies. Peel and slice the potatoes and onions.

Slice the sausage into bite-size pieces.

Place a medium skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.

Add 2 tbsp of olive oil and allow it to become hot.

Add the onions and sauté until translucent.

Add the sausage slices and cook until they turn brown.

Add the potato slices and cook until brown.

Turn the heat down to medium-low, then cover the skillet and simmer everything for about 20 minutes or until the potatoes are fork-tender. Make sure to stir from time to time to prevent them from burning.

Add paprika, salt, and pepper to taste.

Spoon onto a serving plate.

Serve hot with salad. Enjoy!

Note:

Sometimes, I like to serve this over rice or mashed potatoes. You try it!
