Ingredients
1 lb ground beef cooked and drained of fat
1 C  yellow onion chopped
1 C green bell pepper chopped
3 cloves garlic minced
1 jalapeño seeds removed and diced
15 oz corn drained
15 oz black beans drained and rinsed well
15 oz petite diced tomatotes drained
1 1/2 tsp chili powder
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp ground black pepper
1/8 tsp red pepper flakes
3 1/2Â CÂ chicken or beef broth
8 oz cheddar cheese shredded
1Â CÂ heavy cream
3-4 Tb all purpose flour*
Green onions chopped for topping
Instructions
Add cooked beef, vegetables and beans to a slow cooker of 5-6 quarts. Season with seasonings, broth, and some water. Mix well.
Cover and cook on high for four hours or low for eight hours.
Stir in the shredded cheese after 4 hours. Mix flour and heavy cream until well combined. Combine in a slow cooker and stir. Continue cooking for 30 minutes more.
Serve warm with tortilla chips and chopped green onions.
