This copycat recipe may be even better than the original!
Cracker Barrel’s unique style of home-cooked, hearty food is what I love! The closest Cracker Barrel to me is nearly three hours away. Although I haven’t been there in many years, I remember the savory butter side dishes, creamy dumplings and homemade biscuits.
The carrots are my favorite side dish at this restaurant. You might think that I am crazy if you have never tried Cracker Barrel carrots. Why choose carrots over mashed potatoes Heresy! However, I can assure you that you will understand what I mean if you have tried Cracker Barrel carrots. They are sweet, savory and tender.
