Ingredients:
1 lb. Ground beef
1 ½ c Salsa
8 ounces Rotini
½ c water
2 c Shredded Mexican cheese (divided)
1-ounce taco seasoning
Directions:
Refer to the directions provided on the package of the rotini pasta on how to cook it.
Drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process.
Place a large pot on the stove and turn the heat to medium. Add the ground beef, then cook until crumbly and brown. Discard any excess grease.
Add water and the taco seasoning, then stir until well mixed. Simmer until the liquid evaporates.
Add the drained pasta into the pot and salsa into the pot with the meat mixture. Toss until well combined.
Add 1 1/2 cup of cheese and stir until well mixed and melted completely.
Remove the pot from the heat, then sprinkle the rest of the cheese over the mixture and allow it to melt.
Serve hot and enjoy!
