This is just a good, hearty comfort food kind of meal. Always filling and satisfying for my family.
Cook time: 25 Min  Prep time: 10 Min  Serves: 4-5
Ingredients
1Â lb ground beef
1Â medium onion, chopped
1Â green bell pepper, chopped
2Â cloves garlic, minced
1Â Tbsp worcestershire sauce
1Â Tbsp my house seasoning (equal parts garlic powder, onion powder and pepper…combine and store in an airtight container)
10Â oz can diced tomatoes with green chilies, undrained
3Â c chopped cabbage
10Â oz beef broth
1 c shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Directions
1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over med. high heat and drain off the grease. Add the onion, bell pepper, garlic, worcestershire and house seasoning. Combine well. Add the tomatoes and broth, stir and then add in the cabbage. Cover and reduce the heat to medium and cook until the cabbage is tender but not mushy, about 20-25 minutes. Uncover and stir in the cheese, cook until the cheese is melted. Serve over rice if desired.
