Ingredients:

Pork Chops:

2 tbsp butter

4 boneless pork chops

Pork Chop Dredging Mixture:

½ tsp onion powder

½ tsp garlic powder

Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

1 tsp Italian seasoning

¼ c all-purpose flour

Creamy Herb and Wine Sauce:

1 tbsp flour (or use leftover flour from pork chops dredging)

¼ lemon (juice of fresh lemon)

1 tsp Italian seasoning

2 cloves garlic minced

½ c heavy cream

½ c dry white wine

4 sprigs of fresh thyme (leaves only)

½ c chicken stock

2 tbsp butter

Directions:

Add garlic powder, flour, Italian seasoning, salt pepper, and onion powder into a mixing bowl. Whisk until well blended.

Toss the pork chops with the seasonings, then rub each until well coated.

Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.

Add butter and allow it to melt.

Add the pork chops, then sear each side for about 8 minutes or until they turn golden brown. Transfer the pork chops onto a clean plate.

For the Sauce:

In the empty skillet, add 2 tbsp of butter and allow it to melt.

Add the minced garlic, then saute until aromatic.

Add the flour, then whisk and cook for a minute to remove the raw taste.

Add the wine, then stir until well blended. Simmer for about a minute.

Add the heavy cream and chicken stock, then stir until well blended. Make sure to scrape the bottom of the skillet to get the browned bits.

Add lemon salt, pepper, fresh thyme, and Italian seasoning. Stir until well blended. Simmer everything for about 2 minutes.

Turn the heat down to low, then bring the pork chops back into the skillet. Simmer for a few more minutes until soft

Serve and enjoy!
