16 oz. Blackberries
1 C. Water
1C. + ¼ C. Granulated sugar divided
1 ½ C. Bisquik
1 C. Milk
1 tsp. Vanilla extract
8 Tbsp. Butter unsalted and melted
How to make Blackberry Cobbler:
Step 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2. Mix together the water, berries, and ¼ cup of sugar in a saucepan on the stovetop over medium heat. Cook until the berries begin to soften and the sugar has dissolved.
Step 3. In a mixing bowl, combine the Bisquik, 1 cup of sugar, milk, and vanilla extract. Whisk to combine well.
Step 4. Pour the butter into the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish.
Step 5. Add the berry mixture to the baking dish.
Step 6. Drizzle the batter over the baking dish, and bake for 30-40 minutes until cooked through and browned.
