A Cheesy Bacon Chicken Casserole That Will Rock Your World

This recipe is one of my favorite recipes . It’s also one of my easiest. It takes just 15 minutes to prepare this recipe. This dish is great for winter and cold months when you need something that doesn’t feel like winter. When winter doldrums strike, and they will, this dish spreads quickly to make it feel like warmer weather.

Prep time: 10 MINUTES
Cook time: 20 MINUTES
Total time: 30 MINUTES

Ingredients

4 large chicken breasts, skinless and boneless
6 strips of bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 cans cream of chicken soup
2 cups Cheddar Jack cheese
16 ounces spiral pasta
1 tbsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Cook the bacon

While bacon is cooking, dice the chicken into bite sized pieces

Drain and crumble the bacon

Cook the chicken in the same pan as the bacon, using the bacon drippings

While the chicken is cooking, prepare the pasta according to package directions

Preheat the oven to 400*

Spray a 9×13 baking pan with nonstick spray

Drain the pasta and return it to the pot

Add the chicken, the cream of chicken soup and half of the cheese

Stir to combine well

Pour this into the prepared baking pan

Top with the crumbled bacon and the remaining cheese

Bake at 400* for 20 minutes, just until the cheese begins to brown and bubble.

Let sit for 5 minutes, then serve
